A Norwich van spends much of its working day parked: on a terraced street while a boiler is fitted, on a driveway in the suburbs, outside a client’s office or in a supermarket car park between jobs. That changes what the graphics need to do. Neighbours and passers-by see the van close up and at leisure, so a clear business name, a short list of services and a phone number that can be read from the pavement often matter more than a large, dramatic design.
On the move, the picture changes. Around the ring road and the routes in and out of the city, other drivers get a few seconds at most. A bold name on the sides and a simple, memorable rear do most of the work there. A good layout works in both.
Many Norwich vans belong to small trades businesses: electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, landscapers, cleaners and property maintenance firms. Many start with one van and add a second and third over a few years. Planning a layout that can be repeated on a different make or size of vehicle saves redesigning later, and keeps the business looking established as it grows.
The city is also home to company car users and larger fleets: estate and letting agents, care and home-service providers, delivery and facilities companies, and contractors working for public bodies. For them, consistency is the priority. Colours, logo position and contact details should match from the smallest car to the largest van, even when vehicles are replaced at different times.
Our workshop is on the airport side of Norwich, so set your destination to Vulcan House, Vulcan Road North rather than a city-centre address. You can drop a van in and collect it once the graphics are on.

PLAN YOUR JOURNEY ↗
Plenty of city businesses start with one van and add more over a few years. When ordering van graphics Norwich trades can repeat, ask for a layout that will transfer to a different make or wheelbase without a redesign. We keep the artwork and measurements on file, which makes a second or third van quicker to brief and keeps the business looking established.

For van signwriting Norwich customers drop off at the workshop, bring the van clean and clear any roof racks or loose items that cover the panels. If you have new artwork, send it ahead so the proof can be approved before the day. Tell us about dents, old lettering or adhesive residue too, because these affect preparation and the finish.

Larger organisations replace vehicles at different times, which is how a fleet's look drifts out of step. Fleet livery Norwich operators commission works best with a written standard: logo size and position, colours, and where contact details sit on each vehicle type. We can brand new vehicles to that standard as they arrive, so a car added next year matches a van branded today.

Everything is produced at our Norwich workshop. We print on 8-colour, 1440dpi printers that handle graphics roughly 1.5m wide by up to 50m long, and cut lettering on five plotter cutters, two drag-knife cutters and a large-format laser cutter. A large stock of coloured vinyl is held in-house, ready to cut.
We use 3M and Metamark materials. Looked after correctly, van graphics can last up to 7 years, and because vinyl is semi-permanent it can be updated or removed when your details change. Our in-house design team can start from scratch or work with your existing brand guidelines.
