Basic graphics, from £149 + VAT ↗
Single-colour cut vinyl company name on the bonnet, both sides and rear, with phone and web address on the lower sides and bottom of the rear doors.
Your van sits outside every job you do. Make sure the neighbours can see who you are, what you do and how to book you.
Trades van graphics from our Norwich workshop are laid out around ladders, racking and sliding doors, so nothing important ends up hidden once the van is loaded and working.

For a plumber, electrician, builder or landscaper, the van is often the first thing a new customer sees: parked on a driveway all day, waiting outside a merchant first thing in the morning, or lined up on a site next to other contractors. Trade van graphics have a simple job. They say who you are, what you do and how to reach you, clearly enough for someone walking past or sitting behind you in traffic.
That usually means fewer words than people expect. A list of twelve services in small lettering is hard to read from the pavement. Your business name, a short line that describes the trade (“Plumbing & heating”, “Domestic electrical”, “Landscaping & driveways”), a phone number and a web address do most of the work. Extra detail belongs where people stand close to the van, such as the rear doors.
Trade vans also come with practical constraints. Roof racks and ladders hide the top of the side panels. Racking, ply-lining and rear steps change how the van is loaded and where people stand. Dents, scuffs and old signwriting may need dealing with first. We plan the layout around the van you actually drive rather than a clean diagram.

Most trade layouts follow the same logic, because it matches how people see a van. The bonnet is read in mirrors and by oncoming traffic. The sides are seen from the pavement and the driveway. The rear doors get the longest look, from drivers stuck behind you at lights or in a queue, so they deserve the clearest phone number on the van.
If ladders sit on the roof, keep key lettering below the rack line. On a sliding side door, we place lettering so the door still opens cleanly and nothing important falls across a handle or shut line.

Plumbers' vans are loaded and unloaded many times a day, with pipe racks on the roof and doors left open on driveways. Plumber van graphics should keep key lettering below the rack line and away from handles, so the name stays readable when the side door is open. Gas or heating scheme logos can sit close to the phone number, where customers look for reassurance.

If you do both domestic and commercial jobs, your electrician van signwriting needs to speak to both without a long list. Pick one short trade line, such as domestic and commercial electrical, and let the website carry the detail. A change of mobile number is easier to manage with cut vinyl, as one line can be replaced on its own.

Builders' vans are often parked on the same street for weeks during a job, giving neighbours plenty of chances to read them. The builder van graphics Norwich firms order from us are usually kept bold and simple, with the company name, a short description of the work and a number large enough to read from the other side of the road.

Bodywork first. Vinyl follows the surface it is applied to, so deep dents, flaking lacquer and poor repairs tend to show through. Graphics typically perform best on sound, original paint. Tell us about any repairs or previous signwriting when you send photographs.
Accreditation logos. Customers look for the marks of schemes and trade bodies. Only include logos you are entitled to use, and check the scheme’s own rules on how its logo may be displayed. Send the official artwork files rather than a screenshot.
Leased or financed vans. Check your agreement before booking. Our vehicle graphics are semi-permanent, so they can be removed or replaced, but your lease company may have its own conditions on graphics and return condition.
Time off the road. We have courtesy vehicles available while your van is with us; ask about this when you book so the week’s jobs are not disrupted.

A quick quote comes from good information. Before you get in touch, gather the following:
01Send the photographs, wording and logo files. No logo yet? Our in-house design department can create one or work with your designer.
02We lay the design out on your van model so you can check spelling, sizes and positions before anything is produced.
03Graphics are printed on our 8-colour, 1440dpi printers or cut from in-stock coloured vinyl, using 3M and Metamark materials.
04We fit at our Norwich workshop and agree a date that suits your work. We will explain how to look after the graphics when you collect.

Our supply-and-fit packages start from £149 + VAT for Basic graphics, from £210 + VAT for Standard and from £455 + VAT for Pro, for vans fitted within 30 miles of our Norwich workshop. Wraps are quoted individually. The final price depends on the van and design, and is confirmed by quote.
Vehicle graphics are semi-permanent and designed to be removed. On sound factory paint, quality vinyl usually comes away cleanly. Resprayed or damaged areas carry more risk, so mention any previous repairs when you ask for a quote.
Using 3M and Metamark materials, our van graphics will last up to 7 years if looked after correctly. Regular hand washing and avoiding harsh chemicals or aggressive pressure washing at the edges help them last.
Not necessarily. Because the vinyl is semi-permanent, individual lines such as a phone number or service list can be removed and replaced quickly, leaving the rest of the van as it is.
We have courtesy vehicles available while a van is off the road. Ask when you book so we can check availability for your dates.
