Events & exhibitions signage.

Make your presence count.

Event signage gets one chance to work, often in a venue you only see on the day, so we plan each piece around the space, the audience's route and how it will be packed away afterwards.

Event signage – Events & exhibitions signage concept

Signage shaped around events & exhibitions.

Event signage needs to communicate quickly and work within a temporary space. We create portable displays, banners and backdrops that bring the brand together while helping visitors understand the offer and find the right place.

Start with the venue dimensions and the audience’s approach. A large backdrop, a close-view information panel and a directional sign do different jobs. Choose the essential message for each rather than repeating the same crowded artwork across every item.

Planning event signage for a temporary space

dechrome vehicle detailing

Exhibition signage for trade show stands

Visitors walk past a stand in seconds, so the main graphic needs one clear message readable from the aisle. Exhibition signage then adds detail closer in, on product panels or counter graphics. Check the organiser's stand dimensions and rules before artwork begins, and see our exhibition stands page for portable options.

Event banners for outdoor and festival sites

Outdoor events face wind, rain and uneven ground, and banners must be fixed securely to whatever the site provides. Event banners for entrances, sponsor areas and stages should be planned with eyelets, pockets or frames that suit the fixing method. Telling us whether items will be reused helps us recommend formats that last more than one season.

Event wayfinding signs for visitors and guests

Conferences, weddings and festivals all depend on people finding registration, rooms, toilets and exits. Event wayfinding signs should use consistent arrows, colours and names that match the programme or map. Agree routes with the venue and organiser, then we can produce freestanding or hanging signs that are easy to reposition on the day if plans change.

Send us the date, venue and a rough list of items, and we will help you plan event signage that sets up quickly. Get in touch or call 01603 407786.

Your signage starter package.

Designed around Events & exhibitions

Start with what people need to see.

A useful first package connects the main identity with the entrance and the information people need next. We agree the individual items, sizes and artwork together, so the result feels consistent across the premises.

Already have some signs you want to keep? Send photographs and existing files. We can discuss a focused update or phase the project around your opening, refurbishment or rebrand.

Think beyond the first event. Reusable branding can sit alongside replaceable dates, sponsors and programme information. Tell us about transport, storage and who will assemble the display so format choices reflect the way it will actually be used.

For exterior work, show the exposure and fixing surface. For interiors, include the surrounding colours and how the area is cleaned. If a graphic will be replaced regularly, tell us who will change it and whether an existing frame or display can be retained.

Start with the venue dimensions and the audience’s approach. A large backdrop, a close-view information panel and a directional sign do different jobs. Choose the essential message for each rather than repeating the same crowded artwork across every item.

Your questions. Answered.

Which signs should we start with?

Event signage needs to communicate quickly and work within a temporary space. We create portable displays, banners and backdrops that bring the brand together while helping visitors understand the offer and find the right place. Start with the main identity, then identify any point where customers or visitors need another instruction. The starter package above is a starting point for that discussion.

Can we update existing signs rather than replace everything?

Yes, send photographs of the items you want to retain, along with original artwork if available. We can discuss replacement graphics, matching finishes or a phased refresh. The condition and construction of existing signs will affect what can be reused.

What should we send for a quotation?

Start with the venue dimensions and the audience’s approach. A large backdrop, a close-view information panel and a directional sign do different jobs. Choose the essential message for each rather than repeating the same crowded artwork across every item. Include your premises postcode, approximate sizes, photographs, logo files and the date you are working towards. Mention whether you need design, delivery or installation so the quote describes the full requirement.

Can you help with design and fitting?

We can discuss design, manufacture and installation as part of the project. Artwork is reviewed before production, and any survey or fitting requirements are agreed for the actual address. Supply approved wording for specialist or operational signs and any landlord or site requirements.

How long will the project take?

The schedule depends on the sign types, quantities, material availability and fitting arrangements. Tell us your opening or event date at the outset. We agree the programme around approved artwork, any required permissions and the readiness of the premises rather than applying one lead time to every job.

A little more guidance.

Tell us about your premises, the signs you need and the date you are working towards. Send photographs and approximate sizes if you have them.
