Automotive vehicle graphics.

Dealers, garages, mobile mechanics, valeters and recovery operators. Your customers know vehicles, so the finish has to be right.

Automotive vehicle graphics are judged by customers who look closely at panels and finishes, so lettering has to follow the body lines, sit flat and, on stock cars, come off cleanly later.

Graphics for people who notice details.

Automotive customers look closely at vehicles. A bubble, a lifted edge or lettering that does not follow a swage line will be spotted by the people you most want to impress. The standard of the graphics on your own vehicles says something about the standard of your work.

The vehicles vary widely. A dealership may want temporary branding on demonstrators that can come off cleanly before sale. A garage needs courtesy cars that remind customers where they came from. A mobile mechanic or valeter runs a van that is a workshop on wheels. A recovery operator needs a truck that is clearly identified, day and night, without looking like an emergency vehicle.

We also work with motorsport teams, from race car sponsor graphics to matching support vehicles and trailers. See race car graphics for that side of the work, and liquid wrapping for spray-on finishes.

Getting automotive vehicle graphics right for the trade

Car dealer graphics on stock and demonstrators

Car dealer graphics are often temporary. A demonstrator or delivery vehicle may carry the dealership name for months, then need to be returned to standard before sale. Choose designs that limit coverage on painted panels, use window areas where suitable, and tell us at the start which vehicles will be sold so the graphics are planned with removal in mind.

Courtesy car graphics that bring customers back

A courtesy car spends days outside a customer's home and workplace, so it is a quiet reminder of who looked after them. Courtesy car graphics work best kept tidy and small: a logo and garage name on the doors, with a phone number or web address on the rear. Use one layout across every courtesy car so they are recognised wherever they are parked.

Recovery truck graphics, day and night

Recovery operators need to be clearly identified at the roadside without looking like an emergency service. Recovery truck graphics should carry the business name, a 24-hour number large enough to read in headlights and any markings required by your clients or the work. Transporters and larger bodies are quoted individually from photographs and the make and model.

Send photos and the make and model of each vehicle, and we will quote automotive vehicle graphics for your cars, vans or trucks, including any that need to come off before sale. Request a quote.

Practical points for the motor trade.

Removal before sale. Vehicle graphics are semi-permanent. On sound factory paint, quality vinyl usually comes away cleanly, which suits demonstrators and courtesy cars that will be sold on. Tell us about any resprayed panels.

Manufacturer brand rules. Franchised dealers usually work to the manufacturer’s identity guidelines. Send them with your brief and confirm who signs off the artwork.

Recovery markings. Check the current rules and your insurer’s or client’s requirements for recovery vehicles and beacons. Do not copy emergency-service livery: battenburg-style and similar patterns are restricted, and we will not reproduce them.

Night work. Recovery operators and mobile mechanics often work after dark. Lettering can be cut in reflective vinyl so the name and number are visible in headlights.

Courtesy cars in rotation. Courtesy and loan cars change often. A simple, repeatable door and rear-window layout makes it quick to brand a replacement car and remove graphics from the one being sold.

Fit and finish.

Vehicles are fitted at our workshop. Ask about courtesy vehicles if a working van is coming off the road.

Your questions. Answered.

Can graphics be removed from a demonstrator before it is sold?

Yes. Vehicle graphics are semi-permanent and designed to be removed. On sound factory paint, quality vinyl usually comes away cleanly; resprayed areas carry more risk.

Do you do colour-change wraps and dechromes?

Yes. We offer part and full wraps, colour changes and dechrome trims, priced for each vehicle.

Can a recovery truck have yellow and blue squares like a police car?

No. Battenburg-style and other emergency-service patterns are restricted, and we will not copy them. Check the current rules and your client’s requirements for recovery markings, and we will design branding that stays clearly your own.

Do you do race car graphics?

Yes. See our race car graphics page for sponsor layouts, wraps and matching support vehicles.

How much do graphics for a garage van cost?

Van packages start from £149 + VAT (Basic), £210 + VAT (Standard) and £455 + VAT (Pro), fitted within 30 miles of Norwich. Your quote confirms the price.

Discuss a project.
