Trades & home services vehicle graphics.

Vans that park on driveways, wait outside merchants and sit on a street all day. Graphics that turn every job into the next enquiry.

Home services van graphics need to answer three questions for a neighbour glancing at your driveway: who you are, what you do and how to reach you, before the van moves on.

What a home-services van has to do.

Most trades and home-service businesses win work locally, and a large share of it comes from people who live near the jobs you are already doing. A neighbour sees your van on the drive next door, notes the name and looks you up later. That moment is short, so the van needs to answer three questions at a glance: who are you, what do you do, and how do I reach you.

Across the trades in this group the vans look similar but the details differ. A roofer carries ladders that hide the top of the panels. A locksmith is called out at night, when only lit or reflective lettering can be read. A pest controller may be asked to park discreetly. A window cleaner’s van is covered in water and squeegee runs every day. Good graphics plan for those habits from the start rather than leaving them to chance.

The trade guides below explain what customers in each line of work look for, where each piece of information goes and the practical points to settle before you book. If your trade is not listed, start with our trades van graphics overview.

Home services van graphics that win the next job

Plumber van graphics for urgent calls

Plumbing and heating customers often need help fast, so plumber van graphics should make the phone number and the service line impossible to miss. Put the number on the rear doors and lower sides, and keep the trade description short, such as boilers, bathrooms or emergency repairs. Add any scheme logos customers look for, provided you are entitled to display them.

Electrician van graphics with scheme logos

Customers checking an electrician often look for registration scheme logos before they call. Electrician van graphics should leave room for those beside your name, along with a short line covering domestic, commercial or EV charger work. Send the scheme artwork in high resolution with your own logo, and we will lay out both so neither is crowded.

Locksmith van graphics readable after dark

Locksmiths are called out at night, when ordinary lettering disappears. Locksmith van graphics can use reflective vinyl for the name and number so they show up in headlights, while the rest of the layout stays in standard film. Keep the number large on the rear doors, as that is the panel a customer waiting on the pavement is most likely to see.

Options and prices.

Supply and fit within 30 miles

Start with lettering. Grow into livery.

A new sole trader rarely needs a full wrap on day one. Single-colour cut vinyl gets the name and number on the van quickly, and you can add a logo, a second colour or printed panels when the business, or the next van, justifies it.

Our published packages below are for vans fitted within a 30-mile radius of the Norwich workshop. Every price is “from” and + VAT, and your quotation confirms the figure for your van and artwork. Prefer to fit it yourself? Supply-only kits in the online shop start from £95 + VAT for a Basic small van.

Practical points for home-service vans.

Keep the message short. Pick the one or two services that bring in the most profitable work and lead with them. A long list in small type is rarely read from the pavement.

Plan round the kit. Roof racks, ladders, pipe tubes, water tanks and side steps all hide parts of the panel. Photograph the van loaded as it is on a normal working day.

Think about after dark. Call-out trades are often parked under streetlights. We can cut lettering from reflective vinyl, so ask if night visibility matters to your work.

Logos you are entitled to use. Trade association and scheme logos build trust, but check each scheme’s rules for displaying its mark, and send the official artwork files.

Window & Door Doctor van with printed graphics and contact details

From your van to the finished graphics.

Send the details.

Photographs of each side, the make and model, your logo and the exact wording you want. A rough sketch on a photo is fine.

See it on your van.

Our in-house design team lays the artwork onto your van model so you can check spelling, sizes and positions.

Produce in Norwich.

Lettering is cut from in-stock coloured vinyl or printed on our 8-colour, 1440dpi printers, using 3M and Metamark materials.

Fit and go.

We fit at the workshop on an agreed date. Courtesy vehicles are available, so ask when you book if you need one.

What to send us.

  • Your trade, the make and model of the van, and the year.
  • Photographs of both sides, the rear and the bonnet, with ladders, racks or tanks fitted as normal.
  • Your logo in the best quality you have; vector files are ideal.
  • The exact wording: name, trade line, phone, web address and any scheme logos you are entitled to show.
  • Whether you want supply and fit or a supply-only kit.

Think Property van with company graphics

Graphics on a leased van ↗

What to check before lettering a leased or financed van.

Your questions. Answered.

Which trade page should I read if I do more than one thing?

Choose the trade that brings in most of your work and lead with it on the van. The layout advice transfers between trades, and we can fit secondary services on the rear doors, where people stand closer and read more.

How much do graphics for a trade van cost?

Our supply-and-fit packages start from £149 + VAT for Basic, £210 + VAT for Standard and £455 + VAT for Pro, for vans fitted within 30 miles of Norwich. Wraps are quoted. Your quotation confirms the price.

Can I change my phone number or services later?

Yes. Vinyl graphics are semi-permanent, so individual lines can be removed and replaced without redoing the whole van.

Do you letter trailers and second vehicles to match?

Yes. Send photographs of each vehicle and we will scale the same layout so a van, trailer or car reads as one business.

How long will the graphics last?

Our van graphics, made with 3M and Metamark materials, will last up to 7 years if looked after correctly. Hand washing and keeping pressure washers away from the edges help.

Discuss a project.

Tell us your trade, the van’s make and model and the wording you want. Photographs of each side help us quote quickly.
