Frosted manifestation.
Frosted film patterns for glazed doors and screens, combining a considered appearance with an agreed manifestation design for the building.
DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT ↗
Glass that is visible. Branding that belongs.
Manifestation makes glazing apparent to people approaching it. Frosted bands, dots or a suitable logo pattern can form part of the design, but a decorative treatment is not automatically a compliant specification. The building designer or responsible team should confirm the required positions, dimensions and contrast.
Make it work for your project.
Considered design. Planned installation.
The right specification.
The design needs to remain apparent from both sides under the relevant lighting conditions. Views through the glass, reflections and the background behind it can affect contrast. We can prepare an elevation showing the proposed treatment so the responsible team can review it before production.
Ready for the site.
Supply pane-by-pane measurements and identify doors, handles, frames and any existing film. The glazing type, condition and compatibility with the proposed film need checking. Agree the installation sequence and access so the completed pattern aligns across adjoining panes.

Your questions. Answered.
Is frosted film always suitable as manifestation?
No. The layout and contrast must meet the requirements applicable to the building. Decorative frosting alone is not proof of compliance.
Can we use our logo?
A logo can form part of the design where its dimensions, spacing and visibility are appropriate. Have the proposal checked by the responsible project team.
Will it provide privacy too?
A manifestation pattern may leave much of the glass clear. If privacy is also needed, discuss coverage separately and retain the required visibility treatment.
A little more guidance.

Glass manifestation: what the regulations ask ↗
Plan visible glass markings for doors and screens, understand England’s building guidance and prepare a practical manifestation specification.

Frosted window film vs etched glass ↗
Compare an applied decorative film with a finish formed in the glass itself. The right choice depends on existing glazing, privacy, branding, future changes and the wider fit-out.
